Blessings

Hi Friends,
Here is a simple creation I plan to update for future holidays, changing the fall flowers for holly and berries after Thanksgiving. Then maybe I will add some twigs and snowflakes in the form of felt flurries, and then change the interior again with hearts. I think you get the idea. I love the versatility of this Vinyl Decor Element from Stampin' Up! So much so, that I bought 2 more to give my sisters-in-law for Christmas this year! Shhhhhh! They are going to love adding the warmth of this shadowbox to a special niche in their homes! Enjoy!
Once I cleaned the shadowbox and selected my fall foliage, this project took less than 20 minutes to assemble. I did not hot glue the foliage, as I intend to use the Juntos Designer Series Paper for my Christmas decor as well. In January and February, I will change the background as well. Truly an easy project that added a lot of warmth to our home, and I made it myself! Thank you Stampin' Up! Convention for the wonderful ideas!!!! What a blessing! Let me know what you think.
On a separate note -thank you for all who participated in my Cards for Heroes event in October. In participation with the Cards for Heroes Organization, a Close to My Heart Demonstrator living near me, and my friends here (including my Mother-in-Law!!!), we made over 400 Holiday cards to send over to our troops in Iraq. The troops will get to send these cards home to their loved ones, while they are deployed for the holiday season. What a wonderful feeling to accomplish this volunteer project. I know the troops will appreciate this effort, and I find, we are the ones who feels good inside for having done something nice for folks we will never meet! So thank you to all who participated with time, supplies, and prayers!
